Mk802 vs. G-Box Dyno
For all the fans of the Mk802 comes the Android G-Box Dyno Mini TV PC. This is our response to the many different unworthy Mk802 devices out there. It could have been called the Mk802++ or the Mk802 version 4, 5, 10 or whatever version the Mk802 is on, but instead it’s called Dyno, which is nothing short of outstanding considering it outranks the Mk802 and all of it’s cheap clones in everything it does.
Runs XBMC out of the box
What makes the Dyno special is the Amlogic Cortex A9 Neon CPU and Mali400 GPU under it’s tiny hood. Unlike the Mk802 which runs it’s overheating Allwinner A8 processor, the Dyno is capable of running your favorite media center XBMC right out of the box (without overheating, of course). And when I say out of the box, I mean it. It runs the XIOS XBMC installation without any modifications. This is possible because the Dyno has the same exact core hardware that’s in the XIOS. This makes it fully compatible with the latest version of XBMC and sure to be compatible with future releases.
Doesn’t Overheat
The box has been well engineered and tested. The problem with the Allwinner CPU is overheating. The A9 runs cooler and uses less power while pushing the performance notch higher. This prevents the Dyno from the same overheating problems that plague all of the different Mk802′s models out there.
Now for the best part: the price. The Dyno is being introduced for the same low price that you can get an Mk802 for!
G-Box Dyno = Higher performance, better stability, Full XBMC hardware decoding (This makes it worth it’s weight in gold), an IR remote control, a power adaptor and peace of mind.. for the same low price that you could go buy the Mk802 for.

XBMC v.12 Alpha 6 Pivos Update for Midnight & Dyno (10-09-12)
This is the PIVOS distribution of XBMC, which is also fully compatible with the G-Box Midnight. This version has a lot of updates and bug fixes, so it is recommended to update to this one.

This is the latest Midnight & Dyno XBMC Update. Supports Icefilms, 1Channel, etc through the fusion repository. Many stability updates. Uninstall your stock XBMC and install this one with AppInstaller. Enjoy!
