G-Box Midnight

The newest in our line-up of G-Boxes is the new Midnight. The Midnight features a more powerful processor and supports XBMC native hardware acceleration making it the best Media Center solution on the market today.

Teamed with our personal favorite GPU, the Mali400, you can count on compatibility with your favorite 3D games and many other 3D apps out there designed for Android.

Its CPU is well cooled by an over-sized heat-sink and the system is engineered better than any other box on the market for durability to hold up in a commercial environment. Not only is the Midnight great for consumers. Its engineering aspects make it suitable for use for practically any application that requires a mini computer running anything Android.

The new remote is a big improvement over the G-Box I and II. We have incorporated more features in this remote and it is much more sensitive, so you don’t have to worry about the remote will work from your couch.

Connectivity was our #1 goal when we initially designed this device. Having 4 USB ports makes it useful to connect many peripherals simultaneously. The SPDIF digital coax audio output allows high definition audio to be transmitted from the device. The A/V connection expands the device to work with older sets and technology. Internal wifi and onboard Ethernet lets the device connect to virtually any network. External USB wifi dongle support allows the device to connect to routers at a distance.

G-Box Midnight comes with Play Store installed and ready to go. Having Play Store on your TV box opens up the world of thousands of Android apps to install to use on your television.** As soon as you plug in your Midnight it starts up, there’s no buttons to press. Powering on and off the Midnight is fast and done by the remote control. We’ve taken everybody’s suggestions and worked hard to bring you this new improved designed Android box.

* XBMC is in Beta development for Android. Bugs are expected in this media player as they continue to develop the software. Expect XBMC’s current version to freeze, stop working and not be compatible with all plug-ins available. This is a limitation of the software, not the hardware on the device.

** Not all Android apps are compatible with TV box technology. Expect that many apps will not work because of limitations such as input technology, lack of phone hardware and a unique architecture different from phones and tablet PCs.
